TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning are proud to reveal a series of fan activations and events to ramp up excitement in the Tampa Bay community leading into and throughout the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Tampa Bay Lightning Playoff Pop-Up
The Tampa Bay Lightning are launching into playoffs with their Playoff Pop-Up event in Centro Ybor on April 18th from 6 pm – 9 pm. The organization will be taking over Ybor City with an exclusive pop-up store with limited merchandise, including this year’s playoff gear, a limited-edition retail collaboration with Pep Rally Art Studios, and new players tee designs that can only be found in the store. In addition to the new retail line in the store, fans will have the chance to win autographed prizes, sign up to receive an actual Tampa Bay Lightning tattoo for free, and pick up their playoff yard signs and free swag to gear up for Round 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs while enjoying Bud Light specials at the Ybor City Tap House and additional participating bars down 7th Ave. The event will feature a Blue Carpet, Glambot photo activation, ThunderBug, and a guest appearance from Bolts Alumnus Ryan Malone with a 30-minute autograph session. The programming will be supported with partner activations from JC Newman Cigars, Copper Cane Wine, and Ashley Furniture.
To cap the night, worldwide musical artist Amrbxse will perform a FREE concert from Centro Ybor looking over 7th Avenue in Ybor City.
Playoff Events & Partner Promotions
To celebrate Round 1 of the playoffs the Tampa Bay Lightning will be hosting a series of playoff activations between April 21st and April 25th with swag drops and local community activations around the Tampa Bay area. Each day will have its own exclusive, limited time offer from one of our official Tampa Bay Lightning partners at select participating locations.
Monday, April 21 – PDQ
Tuesday, April 22 – Dunkin
Wednesday, April 23 – Culvers
Thursday, April 24 – Chick-fil-A
Letters to the Team Sweepstakes, Presented by AdventHealth and YMCA
Fans are invited to create, write, or design letters to the team wishing them ‘Good Luck’ as they head into the Playoffs. Certain letters will be selected for display for all players, coaches, and staff to see in the Tampa Bay Lightning locker room tunnel as they charge into game time.
Official Lightning Watch Parties The Bolts will be hosting official Lightning Watch Parties starting at Sparkman Wharf, presented by Bud Light, for the team’s first road game of the playoffs and Midtown Tampa for the second road contest. Fans can enjoy live entertainment, appearances from ThunderBug and other Lightning personalities, giveaways, concession specials and more. Lightning Plaza Parties Fans without tickets to playoff home games can still participate in the Lightning Plaza Parties outside of AMALIE Arena on Ford Thunder Alley. For $5, fans can enjoy the game, live music, giveaways and more. The plaza will open for ticketed guests two hours before puck drop. Fans with tickets to the Thunder Alley viewing party and the arena can access the plaza via the west sidewalk in between the JW Marriott and the Pam Iorio Garage, the west sidewalk at the intersection of Morgan/Channelside or the entryway to the plaza at the NW corner of AMALIE Arena.
