The Sportschix (Heather, Sports Arena Tina, & BL (Brenda Lee), aired in Tampa from 1999 through 2008. They take a fun and lighthearted approach to:
- Sports
- Music
- Life (current events, relationships, etc.)
They have attended six Super Bowls working on Radio Row and interviewed many top athletes and celebrities while working on the A.M side of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers network WQYK. They also did several live broadcasts at Yankees spring training games.
They currently air on 102.5 The Bone on Saturdays from Noon – 2.

Tina
Tina, who grew up in a small town east of Columbus, has been a sports enthusiast for as long as she can remember. Since childhood, she has been cheering on teams such as the Buckeyes, the Browns and the Reds, even earning the title of Athlete of the Year her senior year of high school (which she attended alongside future Cardinals catcher Mike Matheny). She later went on to co-found the radio show The SportsChix in 1999, and for over eight years interviewed players and coaches in the Buccaneers locker room. During her time on the show she attended several Super Bowls, broadcasted live from Radio Row, and later, alongside co-host Heather, appeared on ESPN.
BL
BL started her radio career in the late 80’s as a part-time call screener and daily on-air talent for the nationally syndicated Ron & Ron Radio Network. BL was co-host of Hooters on the Radio, created by Ron Bennington. The Late Fez Whatley was an inspiration throughout BL’s career.
In the late 90’s BL co-founded and hosted The SportsChix on CBS Radio Tampa. She and the ladies attended six SuperBowls, and various other sports related venues.
BL and the ladies have interviewed many top names including Dan Marino, Wayne Gretzky, Jim Kelly, Cris Carter, Chris Berman, the late Deacon Jones, Pete Rose and others.

Heather
After years of professional modeling, acting in commercials for brands such as Famous Tate and Dunkin Donuts, and voicing radio commercials for Checkers, Heather joined the radio show The SportsChix in 2000, her love of sports making her a perfect fit to transition into radio. Her extensive career with the show spanned eight years and included interviews with many renowned athletes and coaches, as well as her attending Radio Row at eight consecutive Super Bowls. Outside of The SportsChix, Heather has made appearances on other shows throughout her career, including ESPN Cold Pizza, First Take, Life Around The Bay, and Channel 10 News.
